Description

Four garden urns are located east of Blickling Hall, likely dating from the 18th century. Made of limestone, each urn is symmetrically placed in the formal gardens. They feature a square plinth with a moulded base and top, a moulded pedestal on a square base, and a bell-shaped urn adorned with leaf decoration around the base and a band of scrolls around the top. The urns have a square rim with a fret band and a swept top with a finial boss. These urns are included for their group value within the formal garden.
