TG 12 SE BLICKLING THE FARMYARD

4/19 Nos. 9 & 10 (Cottages immediately south-east of Blickling Hall)

Pair of cottages. C17 and later. Colourwashed brick on tarred plinth. Steeply-pitched roof of smut pantiles, hipped at north and south ends. 1½ storeys. No. 10 has door to left-hand side with two large raised and fielded panels; 3-light segmental-headed casement in square-headed recess. Gabled attic dormer with 2-light casement. Parapeted gables, large axial chimney stack off-centre to north. Later range with hipped roof at south end. No. 10 has two 2-light ground floor casements with doorway off-centre between. 4-panel door. 3-light casement to left-hand side. Two gabled dormers with 2-light casements. Large axial stack off-centre to north. To the rear, later extensions; openings altered. Four pantiled wedge-dormers.
