Description

This is a row of cottages built in the early 19th century, with numbers 2 and 3 dating to the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed of limestone rubble with ashlar quoins, and have gabled roofs covered in Welsh slate, with concrete tiles on the taller numbers 2 and 3. There are brick ridge and end stacks. The row consists of 20 units, with a 19-window front. Windows have timber lintels, and many have glazing bars. Some windows are replacements. A bay on the left has been blocked and is now a garage for the adjacent public house. 19th-century outshuts and 20th-century two-storey extensions are present to the rear. The interior has not been inspected. The cottages face the Oxford Canal.
