Description

This is a row of nine cottages, likely built in the late 18th or early 19th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a gabled stone slate roof, brick ridge stones, and brick end stacks. The row has a 18-window range over two storeys. Timber lintels are above the paired 20th-century doors and windows. Number 15, on the right-hand side, features a 19th-century two-light casement window above a hurriedly fitted sash window. A 19th-century two-light casement window is also present at Number 1, the leftmost cottage. The interior and rear of the cottages have not been inspected.
