Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a house located at the end of a row in Great Bourton, dating from the mid-18th century, with a later addition to the left. The cottage is constructed from squared coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched imitation stone slate roof, along with brick stacks. It stands two storeys high plus an attic and has a two-window range. The entrance, positioned to the right, includes a 20th-century door with a wooden lintel and a 20th-century hood. To the left of the entrance is a three-light metal casement window with a chamfered wooden lintel, wrought-iron casement fastener, springs, and lead cames. A similar window is found on the first floor, alongside another 20th-century window. There is a bread oven projection on the left, and the two-storey addition also on the left has a one-window range with three-light metal casements featuring wrought-iron fittings and wooden lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
