Description
The lychgate at the Church of All Saints, built in 1882 by William White, is constructed from ironstone ashlar. It features an open timber bell tower topped with a steeply pitched gabled roof covered in wood shingles and adorned with finials. The doorway has a pointed arched head and a hood mould with foliated stops. There are two small timber gates fitted with wrought-iron strap hinges. Above the doorway, there are four lancet windows, and a single lancet window is found on the second tier. Inside, the lychgate includes wooden bench seats and a single stone vault. A plank door with a wrought-iron hinge provides access to a staircase.
