Description

Manor Farmhouse, now a house, dates to 1693, with further construction in 1718 and later additions during the 18th century, alongside 20th-century alterations. The datestones W/T/M 1693 commemorate Thomas and Mary Wyatt, while W/1718 marks another construction phase. It is constructed primarily from ironstone ashlar and squared coursed ironstone, with a steeply pitched 20th-century tile roof and renewed brick end stacks. The elevation facing the garden (east) displays a one-unit plan combined with a seven-unit plan and a partial rear section, forming an L-shaped layout. The left section comprises two storeys plus an attic, while the right section has two storeys. The left section has an entrance with a 20th-century door, a moulded wood frame, and a wood lintel. Adjacent to it is a three-light metal casement window, while the first floor features a two-light metal casement with a wood lintel. The right part features renewed four- and three-light stone mullioned windows with hood moulds. To the far right is a four-light wood mullioned window with a chamfered wood lintel. The first floor of the right section includes a two-light wood mullioned and transomed window, a two-light wood casement, and a three-light wood mullioned window, all with chamfered wood lintels. The rear section, dated 1714, has renewed wood mullions and transomed windows. The interior has not been inspected. The property was noted as unoccupied between 1875 and 1880.
