Description
Constone is a cottage that has been converted into one house, originating from the 17th century with alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed from squared, coursed ironstone and features a steeply pitched thatched roof with three brick ridge and end stacks. The building has a single-unit plan that has been expanded to a three-unit plan, and it stands two storeys high with a three-window range.
The entrance, located to the left, includes a panelled and glazed door with a 20th-century thatched rustic porch. To the left of the entrance is a three-light casement window, while a single-light casement is positioned to the right. There are two three-light metal casements in wood frames at the far right. On the first floor, there are three two-light metal casements also in wood frames. The building features wood lintels, lead cames, wrought-iron casement fasteners and springs, and ironstone quoins. The interior has not been inspected.
