Description

BANBURY HORSE FAIR SP4540SW (West side) 9/99 No.12 07/10/69 (Formerly listed as No.13) GV II House, now surgery. C18 with later alterations. Datestone RC/1894 above entrance. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. Stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses. 2 brick stacks on ridge and left end. 2 storeys; 5-window range. C20 door off-centre to right has renewed stone lintel and cornice. 2-light window to left has moulded stone cornice. 2 windows to right: one has a triangular pediment, the other has a moulded stone cornice. 5 windows to first floor have chamfered wooden lintels. All windows have stone sills. Ground floor has some renewed stonework to left and right of entrance. Interior remodelled C20.
