Description
The Green Man Public House is a public house that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from squared coursed lias and features a Welsh slate roof. Originally, it probably had a three-unit plan with attached stables, which are now incorporated into the domestic accommodation. The building is two storeys high and has a six-window range, with remnants of three leaded casements on the first floor and 20th-century casements beneath wood lintels on the ground floor. There is a 20th-century door to the left of centre, also under a wood lintel. To the right of centre, there are double doors leading to the coach house, and a plank door to the far right, both under wood lintels. The building has brick stacks at the ridge and end. Inside, there are remnants of two open fireplaces and stop-chamfered spine beams, although some partition walls have been removed.
