Description
Mill Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered and divided into two dwellings in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared coursed lias stone and features a plain tile roof from the 19th century. The building has an irregular L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high, with part of it having an attic.
The main front has a two-window range, with a cross-wing that projects forward to the right. On the ground floor, there are two 19th-century casement windows and one on the first floor, all set under wooden lintels. The central entrance is a 20th-century door beneath a concrete lintel, and there is a central brick chimney stack.
The return wall of the cross-wing also has a two-window range. The ground floor window on the right is a three-light stone mullion window, while the first-floor window on the left features a 19th-century gable above it. There is another central 20th-century door under a concrete lintel. To the right of the cross-wing is a range that is likely a later addition, which includes one three-light stone mullion window. The gable to the left has a two-light stone mullion window. The interior has not been inspected.
