Description

No. 105 is a small house located on Freehold Street, dating from the 18th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with wooden lintels and features a thatch roof with brick gable stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and has been extended to the rear. It stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical front that includes two-light casements and a central plank door. A "Farmers Fire and Life" insurance plaque is fixed under the eaves. The interior has not been inspected. This house is part of a group of similar thatched cottages at the upper end of Freehold Street, which includes Nos. 80, 86, and 93.
