Description

This garden wall, located approximately 10 metres northeast of Castle House, is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed squared marlstone and limestone ashlar. The wall stands about 3 metres high and features a triangular limestone coping made up of three courses. It stretches for around 30 metres along Victoria Terrace before returning southwards for about 15 metres, where it ramps down to a 20th-century stone pier. This section of the wall is part of a low wall that crosses the garden of Castle House.
