Description
This building is an outbuilding, likely used as stables and a coachhouse, dating from around 1822. It is constructed from marlstone ashlar and has a Stonesfield-slate roof. The structure is a single range with flanking walls, standing one storey plus a loft. The hipped-roofed range features double doors at one end, a stall doorway on the side facing the road, and a hipped dormer on the opposite side. The flanking walls are approximately 2.5 to 3 metres high, extending to the south with a segmental-arched gateway and curving to the north towards the main entrance gates of The Old Vicarage. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
