Description

This is a small house, likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed marlstone rubble with wooden lintels and has a Welsh-slate roof with a brick end stack. The house has a 2-unit plan and two storeys. The front has two 2-light casement windows on the first floor. On the ground floor, there is a 3-light casement window to the right, a large bow window dating from around 1950 to the left, and the entrance on the extreme left, aligning with a large brick stack on the steep-pitched roof. The interior, which was not inspected, is said to contain a large inglenook fireplace. The house is included on the listing for its contribution to the group value of the surrounding buildings.
