Description
This granary, dating from the 17th or early 18th century, is located approximately 50 meters northwest of Middle Aston House. It features a rectangular plan and is constructed with timber framing and brick infill, topped with a Welsh-slate roof. The structure is one storey high with a loft and is raised on 12 limestone staddle stones. There is an entrance in the end wall, and the other sides have shuttered unglazed windows, with diagonal intermediate mullions in the longer sides. The end walls contain three brick infill panels that display diamond patterns made with flared headers. The roof is hipped, and the interior includes a butt-purlin roof.
