Description

The Church of St. Mary Magdalene features a Walker memorial located approximately 3 meters south of the chancel. This headstone dates from around 1624 and is made of marlstone. It is a simple, small stone with a cambered head. The inscription commemorates Katherin Walker, who died in 1624. The rear of the headstone has a fluted top and is also inscribed with the date 1624.
