Description

This headstone, located approximately 34 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary, dates from the 17th century and is made of ironstone. It features a style similar to Artisan Mannerism, characterized by eared and scrolled decoration at the top. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth the body of William Goffe who was buryed the 30 day of December 1676."
