Description
This is a barn and attached stable located approximately 30 meters southeast of Manor Farmhouse. The datestone indicates it was built in 1599, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. The structure is made of squared coursed lias stone and has a Welsh slate roof. It features a single-unit barn with an attached stable and hayloft. There is a cart entrance to the right of the center, under a wooden lintel, and a stable door to the left of the center, also under a wooden lintel, which provides access to the hayloft above. A slit window with a trefoil head is positioned at the far right. The datestone is located in the center of the building. The rear elevation has a corresponding cart entrance. Inside, there is some brick lining from the late 18th or early 19th century, along with roof trusses and rafters from the same period. This building is included for its group value.
