Description

This mid-19th century house, now a shop, stands on the south side of Banbury High Street. It is constructed of brick with a roof that is not visible. The building rises to three storeys and has a three-window front. The ground floor has been remodelled in the 20th century. The first floor retains three original sash windows, each with a moulded stone surround and cornice resting on consoles. The windows are of a three-pane width and have glazing bars. Above them, on the second floor, are three smaller sash windows, with cambered heads and stone sills, also with glazing bars and three-pane width. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the building.
