Description

The Globe Inn is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It features a stucco front, a slate roof, and brick stacks at both ends and laterally. The building stands three storeys high and has a three-window range with a double-depth plan. The central entrance includes a part-glazed door with a split overlight, flanked by bow windows that have glazing bars and slender iron supports. On the first floor, there are two sash windows, both with glazing bars, and a central blocked opening. The second floor also has two renewed 20th-century windows and a central blocked opening. The building is topped with a brick dentilled eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected.
