Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located approximately 20 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St. Giles in Bletchingdon. They date from the mid-18th century and are made of limestone. The tomb to the east is plain and features a cavetto-moulded edge on its lid. The similar tomb to the west has a chamfered edge on its lid and commemorates Thomas Annison, who died in 1751. The tomb to the south commemorates William Annison, who died in 1776, and his daughter Mary, who died in 1773.
