Description
This listing describes a group of two chest tombs located approximately 5 meters south of the chancel at the Church of St. Mary. The northern tomb is dated 1802 and is made of ironstone, featuring an inscription to John Hill. It has plain sides with moulded, chamfered ledger slabs. The southern tomb is dated 1772, also made of ironstone, with an inscription to William Hill. This tomb includes balusters at the corners and moulded, chamfered ledger slabs.
