Description

The Cottage is a cottage, likely dating from the 16th or 17th century. It is located on King's Road, in the village of Bloxham. The building is constructed from regular coursed ironstone rubble, with a Welsh slate roof. A brick stack is present to the left, set upon a stone base. To the right of the cottage is a reused 14th-century pointed doorway, featuring wave moulding and chamfered jambs. The hood mould above the doorway is badly weathered. Two 20th-century casement windows are visible to the left, and two similar windows illuminate the attic. The interior features stop-chamfered beam and chamfered bressumer.
