Description

This is a small house located in Parsons Street, Adderbury, dating to the 17th century. It is constructed of local marlstone rubble with some ashlar dressings, and has a thatched roof with a rebuilt brick stack. The house likely began as a single-unit dwelling, though it may have originally been larger. It has one storey and an attic. The front features a two-light stone-mullioned window. The rear retains an old two-light leaded casement window and provides access to the interior. A single-storey, 20th-century lean-to extension is attached to the right gable wall. The interior has not been inspected. The house was likely originally built alongside a similar cottage to the left, which has since been demolished.
