Description
Stoneleigh House is a house that likely dates from the 18th century and was remodeled in the 19th century. It is built of ashlar stone and has a Welsh slate roof, featuring two stone stacks on the left and one along the ridge. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range. A wide central doorway has an elliptical keystoned head and an elliptical overlight above a panelled door. Flanking the doorway are two sash windows, and there are three additional sash windows on the first floor. All windows are surrounded by keystoned stone surrounds. A flat band runs between the ground and first floor, and there is a moulded stone eaves cornice with stone coping. Stoneleigh House occupies a prominent corner site. The interior has not been inspected.
