Description

Castle Gate is a house, likely built in the early 18th century. It has a timber-framed structure, with weatherboarding on the front and tile hanging on the side elevations. The roof is an old half-hipped design, covered with tiles and featuring a central brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are 20th-century casements. There is a central plank door that has a flat hood above it. At the rear, there is an outshut.
