Description

The Old Rectory is a former rectory that has been converted into a house. It has origins dating back to the 18th century or earlier and was refronted and extended in the 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick featuring patterns of diaper work, with some tile hanging on the gables. It has a tiled roof and brick chimneystacks. The structure is two storeys tall with irregular fenestration. The entrance front includes three hipped dormers and five 19th-century casement windows. The left side elevation features a curved bay with a curved sash window and two tripartite sashes, one of which is located in a projecting gable adorned with wooden bargeboards and alternating courses of plain and fishscale tiles.
