Description

Cowbeech is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is a timber-framed building with weatherboarding on the first floor and painted brick on the ground floor, topped by a steeply pitched tiled roof. The house has two storeys and features four windows, which are 20th-century casements. The entrance has a doorcase with a pediment-shaped hood and a door made of four fielded panels. There is a rear addition from around 1932 that reuses genuine old timbers. The interior was only partially seen during inspection.
