Description
This building is a barn dating from the 17th century, located 10 metres west of Little Bubhurst on Bubhurst Lane in Frittenden. It is timber framed and clad with weather boarding, featuring sandstone at the base of the left end section. The barn has a plain tiled roof that is half-hipped, with cart doors positioned to the centre right. There is a boarded door leading to the first floor at the left end, which is accessed by an external wooden stair. A wooden casement window is found on the upper floor of the left return, and there is a catslide outshot at the rear. Inside, the barn consists of five bays without aisles and has a clasped purlins roof. Wattle and daub walling is present between the barn and the outshot. Attached to the left side is a single-storey range of sheds, also weather boarded, which includes a cart door.
