Description

Lodge Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage that has been converted from a pair of cottages into a single house. It features a timber frame and is weather-boarded, sitting on a sandstone base with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys on a plinth and a hipped roof with a central chimney stack. The front has a regular arrangement of windows, with two horizontally sliding glazing bar sashes on each floor. There are boarded doors on both the left and right sides, each topped with flat hoods supported by brackets. At the rear, there are hipped wings.
