Description

Fir Cottages is a pair of cottages built around 1800. They are timber framed and weather-boarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has a double span roof over a rectangular block and stands two storeys high on a plinth, featuring a hipped roof and a central chimney stack. The windows are regularly arranged, with three glazing bar sashes on the first floor and two on the ground floor. Originally, there was a central doorway, but this has been altered to feature a half-glazed door on the left side and a boarded door on the right side, both with a flat hood above. The cottages are included for their group value.
