Description
Bedwyn Cottage and Orchard Cottage is a pair of houses that were originally part of a cottage row, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with extensions made in the late 20th century. The buildings are timber framed and weather boarded, with the ground floor clad in red brick and topped with a plain tiled roof. They stand two storeys high with an attic, set on a plinth. There are stacks located at the left end, centre left, and clustered at the centre right, with an additional projecting and offset stack at the right end. A single gabled dormer is positioned at the centre right. The first floor features five irregularly sized and spaced two-light wooden casements, while the ground floor has five casements with two and three lights, along with glazed doors located to the left, centre, and right. The left end bay is a 20th-century addition.
