Description

The Vineyard is an early 19th century public house, with later 19th-century additions. It is constructed of painted brick, with extensions in red and painted brick and tile hanging. The roof is tiled, with a half-nipped section to the left and a gabled section to the right, featuring stacks on the right side and to the rear left. The front has three horizontally sliding sash windows on the first floor and two sashes on the ground floor, alongside a large 19th-century transomed pub window to the right. There are multi-panelled doors in the centre left and centre right, each with a flat hood. To the right are double-range, single-storey, half-hipped extensions, with a sash window and boarded door. A gabled, two-storey rear wing extends to the rear, incorporating a stack and a lean-to extension projecting to the left. The interior remains structurally unaltered, retaining a fireplace in the centre left, with a truncated external stack.
