Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century houses located on High Street in Lamberhurst. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the upper floor is weatherboarded, all beneath a slate roof. The building is slightly canted towards the roadside. It is two storeys high with an attic, featuring a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a hipped gambrel roof with a stack positioned centrally to the right. There are three flat-roofed dormers and three glazing bar sashes on each floor; the ground-floor windows have shutters. Boarded doors are present on both the left and right sides, each with a rectangular fanlight and a moulded hood. The ground floor has been slightly reconstructed in the centre left with the removal of a doorway. The rear roofline has been lowered.
