Description
Riverside House is a house that dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with cladding from the 18th century and windows updated in the late 20th century. It has a timber frame and is covered with painted brick on the ground floor, while the first floor and return elevations feature tile hanging. The roof is plain tiled and follows a lobby entry plan, suggesting it may have originated as a hall house. The building has one and a half stories with a half-hipped roof that includes gablets, a central left stack, and three gabled dormers. The ground floor features three-light, two-light, and single-light leaded casements, along with a boarded door located to the center left, which is topped by a flat hood. There are also boarded garage doors to the right in the end bay of the house.
