Description
Arnold House is a house and shop from the early 19th century that was altered around 1900. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and has three storeys topped by a hipped roof, featuring a stack that projects from the left side. On the second floor, there is a glazing bar sash window, while the first floor has a tripartite glazing bar sash window with a gauged head. The ground floor shop front includes a mullioned canted bay and a half-glazed door to the right, which is topped by a rectangular fanlight, all beneath a single cornice or fascia. The building extends back along the house plot and has a second truncated stack at the rear left, with glazing bar sash windows on each floor of the rear elevation.
