Description

No. 4 High Street is a house dating from around 1700, possibly incorporating an earlier structure. It has a timber frame and is clad with red brick on the ground floor, tile hanging on the first floor, and flint, topped with a plain tiled roof. The house is two storeys tall with an attic and features a half-hipped roof. There is a shared stack cluster to the left and a gabled dormer. On the first floor, there are two two-light wooden casements, while the ground floor has one two-light and one three-light casement, along with a central boarded door that has a flat hood above it. This building appears to be a rebuild of half of an earlier structure, likely represented by the adjoining No. 3 on the left.
