Description

The Colebrook or Southborough Viaduct, built in 1845, is a Grade II listed structure made of red brick. It features 26 arches that vary in height according to the slope of the ground. Above the arches, there is a stringcourse and a parapet. This viaduct is part of the original layout of the branch line connecting Tonbridge to Tunbridge Wells. The south-eastern third of the viaduct is located in the former Borough of Tunbridge Wells and is also listed under that area of the Tunbridge Wells District.
