Description

The Southborough or Colesbrook Railway Viaduct is a red brick bridge constructed in 1845 as part of the original layout of the branch railway line from Tonbridge to Tunbridge Wells. The viaduct features 26 arches that connect two embankments, with a stringcourse and parapet above. Notably, the central arches are of considerable height. The southeastern end of the viaduct is located within the Southborough Urban District, and it is listed for its scenic qualities.
