Description

The terrace walls and balustrades located to the south and west of Bidborough Court were built around the 1860s. They are constructed from sandstone, featuring squared masonry that is brought to course, along with ashlar steps and balustrades. The walls support the terraces and include two flights of steps leading to the garden south of Bidborough Court. The balusters are pear-shaped, and the steps are flanked by square section piers topped with moulded cornices. These structures hold group value with Bidborough Court.
