Description

The terrace wall and balustrade located to the west and south of Bowden Park were likely built around 1800 and are made of ashlar stone. The low terrace wall features a balustrade along the west terrace, which bows out in the center to align with the front of the house and returns at both ends. The terrace continues along the south front without a balustrade, with interruptions for steps leading down to the south lawn.
