Description

The balustraded terrace at the rear of Courtlands is an early 20th-century feature that runs along the south garden front of the house, extending to the gazebo. It is paved with stone and has yellow brick retaining walls topped by a stone balustrade made up of balusters and dies. At both the east and west ends, there are stone steps flanked by dies that are surmounted by obelisks.
