Description
This building is a coachhouse and house located about 20 metres west of Spring Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. It features a timber frame and is weather boarded on a red brick base, topped with slate roofs. The structure is two storeys high with a triple span roof, where the central ridge line is notably lower than the flanking ridges on either side.
On the left side, the coachhouse has double boarded carriage doors on the ground floor, with double loft doors above. To the right, the house has paired round-headed sash windows on the first floor and paired simple sash windows on the ground floor, both with glazing bars in the top leaf only. The entrance features a panelled door at the centre with a wooden casement window above it. There are also irregular wooden casements on the right return of the building.
