Description
This is a cartshed with a granary above, likely built in the late 18th or early 19th century. It features a framed construction and a peg-tile roof. The building faces west and is associated with a former farmhouse, which has now been converted into two cottages located to the west.
The structure has a two-bay open fronted cartshed in the center, with the outer bays enclosed and a loft above. The west front is asymmetrical, and the Mansard roof is half-hipped at both ends. The two bays of the cartshed are separated by a central post with braces. On the left side, there are double doors that reach up to the eaves level. To the right, external steps lead to a gabled loft door, which has a gantry above it. A two-light central casement window is present in the loft.
The building holds group value with the cottages at Mascalls Court.
