TQ 64 SE PADDOCK WOOD MASCALLS COURT ROAD

6/338 Cartshed about 30m north east of the Cottages, Mascalls Court GV II

Cartshed with granary over. Probably late C18/early C19. Framed construction with a peg-tile roof.

Plan: West facing, associated with a former farmhouse, now 2 cottages which are sited to the west. 2-bay open fronted cartshed in the centre, the outer bays enclosed; granary over.

Exterior: Lofted. Asymmetrical west front, the Mansard roof half-hipped at ends. The 2 bays of the cartshed are divided by a central post with braces. Double doors to the left rise to eaves level. To the right external steps against the front elevation give access to a gabled loft door with a gantry above. 2-light central casement window to the loft.

Inteior: Not inspected.
