Description
17 to 21 Mount Ephraim are three early 19th century houses located on the southeast side of Mount Ephraim, built in 1746. They are three storeys tall and have a basement. Nos 17 and 21 are finished with stucco, while No 19 has a cemented exterior. The ground floors feature rusticated detailing, and there is a parapet and cornice above the second floor. Stringcourses run above the ground and first floors. Each house has two windows, including a curved bay with one window. All glazing bars are intact. No 17 has a recessed doorcase with an architrave above, while Nos 19 and 21 have three-panel moulded doors with joint segmental fanlights. Nos 17 to 21 form a group.
