Description
This is a row of three cottages, numbers 5, 6, and 7 School Hill, in Lamberhurst. They were built in the mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed of red and blue banded brick, with tile hanging to the gables, and have a slate roof. The arrangement is of two storeys with a garret, topped with a half-hipped roof. Chimneys are located centrally to the left and centrally to the right. The windows are glazing bar sashes, though some have been replaced with late 20th-century top-hung casements, particularly on the right-hand side. The front features boarded doors to the left and centrally right, and a 20th-century glazed door to the right end. The cottages are listed for their group value.
