Description
Mansfield Lodge, at No 29, is likely an 18th-century house that was modified in the early 19th century with the addition of two curved bays, each featuring three windows. These bays have been refaced with cement, and a gable was added to the northwest bay, which has been truncated and incorporated into the adjacent house, No 27 (Durnford Lodge). The building has three storeys and attics, with two dormers and one window in the new gable. There are seven sash windows set within moulded architrave surrounds that do not have glazing bars. A porch situated between the bays is supported by two Tuscan columns and two half columns, with a wrought iron railing above. Durnford Lodge, at No 27, features a lower two-storey annex to the west with two windows. Nos 9 to 29 (odd) are part of a group.
