Description

15 and 17 Berkeley Road are an early 19th century pair of two-storey buildings constructed of painted brick. They have a slate roof with an eaves cornice. The windows are three sashes with cambered heads, including a corner window which is slightly curved, and retain their original glazing bars. The ground floor features a double doorcase with a slender cornice and brackets, a rectangular fanlight, and a five-panelled door. A similar doorcase is present at the corner, and a small, contemporary projecting shop window is located at No. 17. These buildings form a group with Nos 11 to 17 (odd) and Nos 23 and 23A Berkeley Road, as well as Nos 2 and 3 Berkeley Place.
