Description

Two early 19th century houses form a small terrace at Mount Sion. The building is three storeys high, with the ground floor raised above street level. The exterior is white brick above an ashlar base, and features a parapet and eaves cornice. The house has eleven windows in total, all retaining their original glazing bars. The facade is divided into three curved bays containing three windows each. Between these bays are round-headed windows, with iron balconies on the second floor. Small porches with iron mushroom capitals are situated beneath the round-headed windows. The property at No. 25 has a double flight of twelve wide steps leading up to its porch. The porch of No. 23 is a verandah, with a side entrance accessed via a long, trellised porte cochere. Numbers 9 to 29 (odd numbers) form a group.
